Philadelphia 76ers Form
Philadelphia head back out on the road looking to build on back-to-back wins as they attempt to avoid the Play-In Tournament.
The 76ers’ playoff push suffered a major setback in late March as they lost five times in a six-game spell.
This sequence began with a 115-102 loss in Phoenix that was followed by a 101-94 defeat when they visited the Los Angeles Lakers.
Philadelphia then failed to build on a 121-107 win at the LA Clippers as they were beaten 108-96 at Sacramento, 108-17 by the Clippers and 117-114 in Cleveland.
The 76ers have got back on track in recent days though, following up a 135-120 win in Toronto with a 108-105 victory at home to Oklahoma City.
Miami Heat Form
Miami come into this game riding a three-game win streak that has kept them in the hunt for a playoff place.
The Heat lost four consecutive games in early March, but steadied the ship as they won back-to-back games in Detroit, 108-05 and 104-101.
They then bounced back from a 98-91 defeat in Philadelphia with a 107-104 victory over Cleveland, before responding to a 111-88 defeat to New Orleans with a 121-84 success against Cleveland.
Miami failed to back up that second win over the Cavaliers as they were beaten 113-92 by Golden State, but they have not lost since.
The Heat have sandwiched a 119-107 win in Washington with home wins against Portland, 142-82, and New York, 109-99.
Verdict
Philadelphia continued to manage some injuries and have a rough recent record against Miami, so we are siding with the Heat in this one.
