  • New York Knicks won 98-74 when the two teams last met on March 8

Orlando Magic Form

Orlando head to the ‘Big Apple’ riding a six-game win streak and having won 12 of their last 13 games. Including all three of their NBA Cup games.

The Magic endured a five game skid in early November, but turned things around in spectacular fashion as they won five straight.

That run included a couple of NBA Cup successes, as they beat Charlotte 114-89 and Philadelphia 98-86 at home.

Orlando’s run was ended by a 104-93 loss at the LA Clippers, but they bounced back emphatically with six more wins.

The Magic’s latest streak saw them win back-to-back games in Brooklyn to end last week, including a 123-100 blowout of the Nets in the cup.

New York Knicks Form

New York enter this matchup having won back-to-back games to continue a solid run of form that has seen them win seven of the last nine.

The Knicks began this sequence with back-to-back home wins over Brooklyn, beating the Nets 124-122 and 114-104.

They then beat Washington 134-106 at home and Phoenix 138-122 to the road, before seeing their winning run end with a 121-106 defeat in Utah.

New York rebounded with a 145-118 success in Denver, only to then move on to Dallas where they were beaten 129-114 by the Mavericks.

The Knicks have not lost since though, following up a 99-98 victory in Charlotte with a 118-84 demolition of New Orleans at home.
