Orlando Magic Form

Orlando went into Wednesday night’s road game against the LA Clippers riding a six-game win streak that took their record to 9-6.

The Magic opened the season by winning three of their first four games, only to then go cold and lose the next five.

They snapped that skid when they returned home though, kicking off a six-game surge with the 115-88 blowout of New Orleans.

Orlando then backed that up with two more convincing wins, beating Washington 121-94 and Charlotte 114-89, before battling past Indiana, 94-90, and Philadelphia, 98-86.

The Magic then went out on the road to down Phoenix 109-99 in the opening game of this three-game trip.

Los Angeles Lakers Form

Los Angeles come into this matchup on a red-hot run of form, having won six straight games to improve to 10-4.

The Lakers began the season with three consecutive wins, but failed to maintain that momentum over the next two weeks.

They lost four times in a five-game spell, only to spark their turnaround in fortunes when they returned home to beat Philadelphia 116-106.

Los Angeles then downed Toronto 123-103 and Memphis 128-123, before heading to San Antonio to beat the Spurs 120-115.

The Lakers’ streak continued with a 104-99 victory in New Orleans, and reached six games on Tuesday as they beat Utah 124-118.
