The Thunder started this sequence with a three-game win streak that saw them win 128-120 in Portland, before returning home to down Miami 107-100 and Memphis 124-93.
They then bounced back from a 121-111 defeat at home to Indiana with victories over Dallas, 126-119, Memphis, 118-112, Utah, 119-107, and Toronto, 123-103.
Oklahoma City’s streak was ended by a 118-93 defeat in Milwaukee, but they immediately rebounded to beat New Orleans 119-112.
The Thunder then bounced back from a 132-16 overtime defeat to Houston with wins over Phoenix, 128-103, and New York, 113-112, only to lose 109-105 in Philadelphia last night.
Boston Celtics Form
Boston return home having bounced back from a couple of defeats, and they have now won 11 of their last 13 games.
The Celtics responded to back-to-back road defeats with a 117-107 victory in Phoenix, which was followed by a 121-99 win in Portland and a 123-107 win in Utah.
They kept that streak going with a 127-112 home win against Phoenix, and then backed that up a 130-104 win in Washington before returning home to down Detroit 119-94 and Milwaukee 122-119.
Boston went out on the road after that and took their streak to nine games with a 129-102 win in Detroit and a 124-113 victory at Chicago.
The Celtics’ run was finally ended by 120-118 and 123-122 (OT) defeats in Atlanta, but they rebounded with a 104-92 victory in New Orleans and a 118-104 success in Charlotte.
Verdict
Oklahoma City played just last night and are dealing with some injuries at this time.
That does not bode well for a meeting with a Boston team in good form and good health heading into this.
