New York head to Milwaukee looking to rebound from their fourth defeat in their last six games.
The Knicks’ disappointing run began on the road as they were beaten 97-94 at Golden State.
They rebounded to beat Miami 116-95 at home, only to then head back out on the road and suffer back-to-back defeats, losing 120-105 to San Antonio and 115-98 in Charlotte.
New York steadied the ship when they returned home, beating Washington 122-103 and Dallas 128-113, but their joy was short-lived.
The Knicks were unable to make it three-in-a-row on Wednesday night as they were beaten 126-113 by the LA Clippers.
Milwaukee Bucks Form
Milwaukee also enter this matchup on a disappointing run of form, having now lost seven of their previous 11 games.
The Bucks’ underwhelming run began with a three-game losing skid that saw them lose 119-109 to Orlando, 112-100 to Cleveland and 115-114 in Indiana.
They rallied at home to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 126-106 and Indiana 126-119, only to end that run of games at the Forum with a 121-105 defeat at Oklahoma City.
Milwaukee then began a five-game road trip with a 104-93 loss at Golden State, but rebounded to beat the Lakers 118-89 and Sacramento 114-108.
The Bucks failed to keep that run going however, as they were then beaten 108-106 in Phoenix and 127-117 at Denver.
Verdict
New York have won the two previous meetings this season, and despite some underwhelming recent form we expect that trend to continue.
Milwaukee could be without both Lillard and Giannis for this one, and without their two best players it is tough to have confidence in the Bucks.
