New York head out on this West Coast road trip on the back of a loss, but having won six of their last nine games.

The Knicks began this run by responding to a 131-104 loss to Boston with a 128-115 victory when they visited Indiana.

They then returned home to beat Atlanta and Chicago in overtime, 149-148 and 113-111 respectively, before dropping back-to-back road games in Cleveland and Boston.

New York fell 142-105 to the Cavaliers and 118-105 to the Celtics, but put that behind them with a 110-105 victory when they hosted Philadelphia.

The Knicks backed that up on the road with a 114-113 win in Memphis and a 116-112 overtime victory in Miami, before losing 114-102 at home to Golden State on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Lakers Form

Los Angeles enter this matchup on their best run of the season so far, having reeled off seven consecutive victories.

The Lakers have not lost since their first game back after the All-Star break, when they fell 100-97 to Charlotte.

They rebounded on the road to beat Portland 110-102 and Denver 123-100, and then returned home to take down Luka Doncic’s old team, Dallas, 107-99.

Los Angeles downed Minnesota 111-102, before winning back-to-back meetings with the LA Clippers, 106-102 and 108-102.

The Lakers then made it seven wins in a row on Tuesday night as they beat New Orleans 136-115.
