New York head to Denver looking to rebound from a defeat in Utah that halted a four-game win streak.
The Knicks were hit or miss through the first few weeks of the season, going 5-6 over the course of their first 11 games, but they found some form in the second half of November.
A 124-122 NBA Cup win over Brooklyn proved to be the start of a season-best four-game winning run for them.
New York backed up that win over Brooklyn with a second victory over the Nets, this time winning 114-104, and they followed that up with a 134-106 blowout of Washington.
The Knicks then started this road trip with a 138-122 win in Phoenix, only to lose 121-106 when they visited Utah on Saturday.
Denver Nuggets Form
Denver come into this game on the back of a win, but in underwhelming form with three defeats in their last five games.
The Nuggets lost their first two games of the season, only to rebound and win seven of the next eight outings – a run that included a five-game win streak.
They cooled off in New Orleans though, losing 101-94 to the Pelicans in their opening NBA Cup game.
Denver then lost 105-90 in Memphis, before avenging that defeat a couple of nights later with a 122-110 cup win over the Grizzlies.
The Nuggets failed to follow up that victory, losing 123-120 to Dallas, but they did bounce back with a 127-102 victory at the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.

Denver recorded one of their most impressive wins of the season on Saturday.
