That run was ended by a 128-112 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, but they rebounded quickly to beat Houston 124-118 at home and Toronto 121-115 on the road.
New York failed to make it three-in-a-row as they were blown out 131-104 by defending champions Boston, but they again responded well to a loss.
The Knicks beat Indiana 128-115 and Atlanta 149-148 in overtime to go into the All-Star break in positive form, and then returned to action with a 113-111 overtime win over Chicago last night.
Cleveland Cavaliers Form
Cleveland go into this game having extended their recent win streak to five with last night's victory in Brooklyn.
The Cavaliers lost three straight in late January, but rebounded before the end of the month by embarking on a four-game win streak.
They beat Detroit 110-97, and then followed up a 126-106 success in Miami by heading back home to down Atlanta 136-115 and Dallas 144-101.
Cleveland’s run was ended by a 112-105 loss to Boston, but they bounced back on the road to beat Detroit 118-115 and Washington 134-124.
The Cavaliers then blew out Minnesota at home, 128-107, and won 131-108 in Toronto before the All-Star break, before returning with a 110-97 win in Brooklyn last night.
Verdict
Cleveland are on a roll heading into this matchup, and they already boast one win and cover against New York this season.
We expect similar scenes here against a Knicks team who have had a hard time covering the number in recent times.
