New Orleans remained in Portland for their third game of the season, but they were unable to repeat Friday’s win over the Trail Blazers.
This time the Pelicans fell to a 125-103 defeat at the hands of the Trail Blazers.

Golden State also come into the game with a 2-1 record and having lost their most recent matchup
The Warriors were handed two road games to start the season, and they were able to return home with a perfect 2-0 record.
They first travelled to Portland and took down the Trail Blazers in their season-opener, 140-104.
Golden State then moved on to Utah and were able to back up that victory with a 127-86 blowout of the Jazz.
The Warriors failed to make it to 3-0 though, as they fell to a 112-104 defeat to the LA Clippers in their home opener.
Verdict
Both teams are banged up, but the biggest absence in this matchup has to be Stephen Curry.
This is a great opportunity from New Orleans to rebound from their first defeat, and we expect them to take it.
