The Nuggets were inconsistent throughout March, and in the second half of the month they suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time since late January.
They fell 120-108 at the Los Angeles Lakers, before heading to Portland for a 128-109 defeat to the Trail Blazers.
Denver rallied to wrap up that trip with 116-111 success in Houston, only to then lose 129-119 when they returned home to host Chicago.
