Who will win this battle of contenders in the Eastern Conference?

Check back here on Wednesday morning for our free Milwaukee Bucks at Philadelphia 76ers tips.

  • Milwaukee Bucks won 114-105 when the two teams last met in March 2024

Milwaukee Bucks Form

Milwaukee enter the new season as one of the Eastern Conference’s top contenders to win the NBA championship.

The Bucks, who went ‘one-and-done’ in the playoffs a year ago, go into their season-opener having gone 1-3 during pre-season.

They began their preparations in Detroit, where they fell to a 120-87 defeat to the Pistons, and then returned home for a 107-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Milwaukee avoided a third straight loss as they beat Chicago 111-107, but that proved to be their only pre-season win.

The Bucks wrapped up their preparations for the new season with a 109-84 defeat at the hands of Dallas.

Philadelphia 76ers Form

Philadelphia are considered a top-five contender to get their hands on the NBA championship this season.

Like their opponents on opening night, the 76ers also fell at the first hurdle in last season’s playoffs, so they will be eager to make amends this time around.

They began their preparations for the regular season on the road, losing 121-111 at Minnesota and 139-89 in Boston.

Philadelphia finally got off the mark with a 104-89 road win over Atlanta, and then returned home to beat Brooklyn 117-95 in their only home pre-season matchup.

The 76ers failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they travelled to Orlando to lose 114-99 to the Magic.
