The Bucks started the month with a 113-97 win in Chicago and a 113-106 victory at home to LA Clippers that took a win streak to six games.
That sequence was halted by a 125-90 defeat at Golden State and a 123-122 loss at the Los Angeles Lakers, and they then failed to build on a 124-117 win over the LA Clippers as they lost 129-94 to Sacramento.
Milwaukee rebounded at home as they beat Philadelphia 114-105 and Phoenix 140-129, but they returned to losing ways when they went back out on the road to lose 122-119 in Boston.
The Bucks quickly responded when they returned home though, beating Brooklyn 115-108 and Oklahoma City 118-93 before suffering a 128-124 double overtime defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers.
New Orleans Pelicans Form
New Orleans come into this game on the back of a loss, but in good form having gone 9-3 so far this month.
The Pelicans started the month with a 129-102 victory over Indiana, and backed that up on the road as they beat Toronto 139-98, Philadelphia 103-95 and Atlanta 116-103.
They then bounced back from a 116-95 home defeat to Cleveland with home wins against the LA Clippers, 112-104, and Portland, 126-107, and backed that up by winning 104-91 in Brooklyn.
New Orleans then lost 121-106 in Orlando, only to respond with a 111-88 win in Miami and a 114-101 victory in Detroit.
The Pelicans failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they returned home to lose 119-112 to Oklahoma City.
Verdict
Milwaukee have owned New Orleans in recent seasons, and that trend is backed to continue in this latest encounter.
