Los Angeles head to Philadelphia looking to follow up last night's win in Charlotte, which was their sixth in their last seven games.
The Lakers lost three straight in early January, before stopping the rot with a 117-108 victory when they hosted Miami.
They backed that up by beating Brooklyn 102-101, but failed to make it three-in-a-row as they were beaten 116-102 at the LA Clippers.
Los Angeles bounced back quickly with consecutive home wins, beating Washington 111-88 and Boston 117-96.
The Lakers then made it four-in-a-row as they went out on the road to down Golden State, 118-108, and Charlotte, 112-107.
Philadelphia 76ers Form
Philadelphia go into this game looking to string together three straight wins for the first time since late December.
The 76ers ended 2024 on a four-game win streak, but made a mixed start to 2025 as they dropped three of their first five games of the year.
Their form then collapsed completely as they lost seven straight games, starting with a 123-115 defeat to New Orleans and a 104-99 loss in Orlando.
Philadelphia then lost at home to Oklahoma City, 118-102, and New York, 125-119 in overtime, before heading out on the road for defeats to Indiana, 115-102, Milwaukee, 123-109, and Denver, 144-109.
The 76ers finally ended that losing skid when they upset Cleveland, 132-129, and they were able to back that up on the road as they won 109-97 in Chicago.
Verdict
Philadelphia have rallied with a couple of wins, but if the Lakers have been in good form for a couple of weeks.
If LeBron and AD do get the start here, we expect Los Angeles to leave Philly with another win and cover.
