Los Angeles Lakers at Oklahoma City Thunder Preview & Picks

Can Los Angeles repeat Sunday’s win over Oklahoma City?

Check back here on Tuesday morning for Los Angeles Lakers at Oklahoma City Thunder tips.

Head To Head

  • Los Angeles Lakers lead the all-time series 183-127
  • Los Angeles Lakers won 126-99 when the two teams last met on April 6

Los Angeles Lakers Form

Los Angeles go into their second straight game in Oklahoma City looking to repeat Sunday’s victory over the Thunder, which was their fifth in their last seven games.

The Lakers endured a rough run in the second half of March as they lost three straight; a sequence that was ended by a 120-119 win in Indiana.

They failed to follow that up as they then lost 119-117 in Chicago, but they did rally to win their next two games.

Los Angeles downed the Grizzlies in Memphis, 134-127, before returning home to beat Houston 104-98.

The Lakers then lost 123-116 at home to Golden State, only to rebound by beating New Orleans 123-116 and Oklahoma City 126-99.

Oklahoma City Thunder Form

Oklahoma City enter this matchup looking to rebound from back-to-back defeats that ended their second best run of the season.

The Thunder were beaten 140-127 when the hosted Denver back on March 10, but they responded to that loss by reeling off 11 consecutive victories.

That great run of form started with a 118-112 win when they visited defending champions Boston two days later.

Oklahoma City’s tear was finally brought to an end last Friday when they suffered a 125-111 defeat in a big Western Conference matchup in Houston.

That was followed up by a 126-99 blowout loss when they hosted the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
