This rough run started at home as they were beaten 119-188 by Orlando and 127-102 by Denver, before heading to Phoenix for a 127-100 defeats.
Los Angeles avoided a fourth straight loss as they won 119-101 in San Antonio, only to then lose 101-93 when they hosted Oklahoma City.
The Lakers rebounded to beat Utah 105-104 on the road, but they have not won since, losing 109-80 in Minnesota and 134-93 at Miami.
Atlanta Hawks Form
Atlanta go into this matchup on a good fun of form, having rebounded from a three-game skid with five straight wins.
The Hawks spent the early part of the season under .500, with a three-game losing run leaving them at 7-11 heading into late November.
They went out on the road to lose 120-97 at Golden State and 136-122 in Chicago, before heading home for a 129-119 defeat to Dallas.
Atlanta steadied the ship though as they twice knocked off Cleveland, beating the Cavaliers 135-124 on the road and 117-101 at home.

Verdict
Atlanta are on a roll and remain only one of two teams to have beaten Cleveland this season, and they have done that twice!
Los Angeles, on the other hand, have just been embarrassed in Minnesota and Miami, so we are confident about a Hawks win and cover here.
