Los Angeles Clippers at Chicago Bulls Preview & Picks

Chicago are backed to cover in a home win against Los Angeles.

The Bulls have struggled for several weeks, but they have been consistent at home this season.

LA, meanwhile, are likely to limit Paul George’s minutes and that would be a blow to their chances.

  • Chicago Bulls are 24-12-0 ATS at home this season
  • Chicago Bulls are 4-1-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs LA Clippers
  • Los Angeles Clippers are 1-6-0 ATS in their last 7 games
  • Los Angeles Clippers are 1-5-0 ATS in their last 6 road games
  • The Under has hit in each of Chicago’s last 5 games
  • The Under has hit in 8 of Los Angeles’ last 11 games

Head To Head

  • Chicago Bulls lead the all-time series 67-55
  • Chicago Bulls won 100-90 when the teams last met on November 14

Los Angeles Clippers Form

Los Angeles head to Chicago on the back of a morale-boosting win that ended a five-game skid.

The Clippers’ losing run started back on March 14 with a 120-111 overtime defeat in Cleveland.

That was followed by a 103-100 defeat at home to Toronto, before they went back out on the road to lose in Utah and Denver.

LA’s skid hit five games last Friday night when they were blown out 122-97 in Philadelphia.

They were able to stop the road on Tuesday though, pulling off a surprise 121-115 home win against Utah.

Paul George led the way for the Clippers, registering 34 points and six assists in the victory.

Reggie Jackson put up 21 points and five assists, while Luke Kennard and Isaiah Hartenstein had 17 and 14 points respectively off the bench.

Chicago Bulls Form

Chicago are clinging on to a playoff place following Tuesday night’s much needed victory in Washington.

The Bulls have been on a horrible run since late February that has left them in danger of sliding into the play-in tournament.

They have gone 5-11 in their last 16 games, and they are returning home after a 2-3 roadtrip.

Chicago started the trop with blowout defeats in Milwaukee and New Orleans, before recording a 98-94 win in Cleveland.

The Bulls slumped to defeat in New York 48 hours later, but bounced back with a 107-94 win in Washington on Tuesday night.

DeMar DeRozan took over the contest in the fourth quarter and finished with 32 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Nikola Vucevic put 27 points for the Bulls, while Zach LaVine had just 14 points as he struggled from the floor.

Verdict

Neither team is in great form, but Chicago have been consistent against the spread at home.

They also have a healthy knack for covering against LA, so the Bulls are backed in a low-scoring game.

Spread – Chicago -3.5 @ -110
Total Points – Under 223.0 @ -110
