LA Clippers at Portland Trail Blazers Preview & Picks

Will LA repeat last month’s victory over Portland?

Check back here on Thursday morning for our free LA Clippers at Portland Trail Blazers tips.

Head To Head

  • Portland Trail Blazers lead the all-time series 153-97
  • LA Clippers won 127-105 when the two teams last met on December 3

LA Clippers Form

LA went into Wednesday night’s game against Brooklyn looking to win back-to-back games for the first time in 2025.

The Clippers have not strung together wins since late December, when they backed up a 114-110 win at Memphis with victories over Golden State, 102-92, and New Orleans, 116-113.

That run was ended by a 122-86 blowout loss in San Antonio in their final game of 2024, and they then kicked off 2025 with a 116-98 defeat at Oklahoma City.

LA avoided a third straight loss with a 131-105 demolition of Atlanta, only to then head out on the road and lose 108-106 in Minnesota and 126-103 in Denver.

The Clippers again avoided a three-game skid though, as they returned home to down Miami 109-98.

Portland Trail Blazers Form

Portland go into this matchup having lost five of their first seven games of 2025, including each of the last three.

The Trail Blazers ended 2024 with a 125-103 defeat to Philadelphia, and then began this year with a 114-106 loss at the Los Angeles Lakers.

They avoided a third straight loss with a 105-102 victory in Milwaukee, only to then lose 118-115 when they moved on to face Detroit.

Portland responded with a 119-100 victory in New Orleans on January 8, but they have not won since.

The Trail Blazers were beaten 117-111 in Dallas, before returning home for defeats to Miami, 117-111, and Brooklyn, 132-114.
