Golden State Warriors Form
Golden State head to Miami on a three-game losing run after being beaten in Orlando last night.
The Warriors enjoyed a four-game win streak earlier this month, but that run was snapped by a 110-88 defeat in Boston.
That defeat proved to be even more costly as Stephen Curry suffered a foot injury that has sidelined him for several weeks.
Golden State failed to get by without Curry as they lost 110-108 at home to San Antonio on Sunday night.
Then, just 24 hours ago, the Warriors’ skid hit three games with a 94-90 defeat at Orlando.
Jordan Poole led the team in scoring with 26 points to go along with six assists.
Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson combined for just 28 points, but Otto Porter Jr had another solid game off the bench with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Miami Heat Form
Miami are looking to bounce back from Monday night’s defeat to shorthanded Philadelphia.
The Heat have been in solid form since early February with 15 wins in their last 20 games.
The played just twice last week and went perfect, following up a 105-98 win over Detroit with a 120-108 victory against Oklahoma City.
Miami started this week in disappointing fashion though, with a 113-106 road defeat to a Philly team without Joel Embiid and James Harden.
Bam Adebayo put up 22 points and nine rebounds, but he failed to take advantage of Embiid’s absence from the 76ers’s starting five.
Jimmy Butler had 27 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Heat, while Kyle Lowry registered 20 points and six assists.
Verdict
Golden State are once again stacking up losses and they are again without Stephen Curry.
We are backing Miami to take full advantage with a victory and cover at home.
Spread – Miami Heat -7.0 @ -110
