Golden State head to Cleveland riding a five-game win streak that has propelled them to a 7-1 record.

The Warriors opened the season on the road and won their first two games, 140-104 in Portland and 127-86 at Utah.

They failed to make it to 3-0 as they lost their home opener to the LA Clippers, 112-104, but they have not tasted defeat since that night.

Golden State rebounded with back-to-back home wins over New Orleans, winning 124-106 and 104-89, and they then kicked off this road trip with a 127-121 overtime victory in Houston.

The Warriors kept the win streak going as the won 125-112 in Washington, and they made it five-in-a-row on Wednesday as they downed defending champions Boston, 118-112.

Cleveland Cavaliers Form

Cleveland enter this matchup boasting the only unbeaten record left in the NBA, having won their first nine games.

The Cavaliers began their campaign with a 136-106 blowout of the Raptors in Toronto, and backed that up with a 113-101 victory over Detroit in their home opener.

They then went back out on the road to down Washington 135-116 and New York 110-104, before heading back home to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 134-110.

Cleveland’s streak continued as they beat Orlando 120-109, and they then won back-to-back meetings with Milwaukee, 114-113 at home and 116-114 on the road.

The Cavaliers took their streak to nine games on Wednesday night, as they travelled to New Orleans to beat the Pelicans 131-122.
