Detroit Pistons at LA Clippers Preview & Picks

Will Detroit’s great run continue with a victory in Los Angeles?

Check back here on Wednesday morning for our free Detroit Pistons at LA Clippers tips.

Head To Head

  • Detroit Pistons lead the all-time series 73-54
  • Detroit Pistons won 106-97 when the two teams last met on February 24

Detroit Pistons Form

Detroit head to Los Angeles on a fantastic run of form, having now won 10 of their previous 11 games.

The Pistons began this great run by snapping a two-game losing sequence with a 125-112 victory over Philadelphia.

They then beat Charlotte 112-101, before heading out on the road to down Chicago, 132-92 and 128-110, San Antonio, 125-110, and Atlanta, 148-143.

Detroit then returned home to down the LA Clippers 106-97 and Boston 117-97, before finally seeing their streak end with a 134-119 defeat to Denver.

The Pistons have rebounded well though, backing up a 115-94 home win against Brooklyn with a 134-106 victory in Utah.

LA Clippers Form

LA went into Tuesday’s game in Phoenix in need of a victory, having lost five of their previous six games.

The Clippers lost three straight to start February, but rallied to win three consecutive games themselves.

However, they have struggled to bounce back since that good sequence was ended by the 116-110 defeat in Milwaukee.

LA then lost 129-111 in Indiana and 106-07 at Detroit, before finally stopping the rot with a 122-117 success in Chicago.

The Clippers’ joy was short-lived though, as they lost back-to-back meetings with the Los Angeles Lakers, 106-102 and 108-102, before heading to Phoenix.
