  • Minnesota Timberwolves won 98-90 when the two teams last met on May 19

Denver Nuggets Form

Denver head to Minneapolis looking to make it three wins in a row and climb above .500 for the first time this season.

The Nuggets were given back-to-back home games to start the season, but they failed to make the most of it as they lost both outings.

They first suffered a 102-87 defeat at the hands of Oklahoma City, before losing 109-104 when they hosted the LA Clippers.

Denver have kick-started their season on the road though, winning back-to-back games in overtime.

The Nuggets finally got off the mark with a 127-125 in Toronto, before heading to Brooklyn for a 144-139 victory over the Nets.

Minnesota Timberwolves Form

Minnesota enter this matchup looking to rebound from a home defeat that dropped their record to 2-2.

The Timberwolves opened up the season back-to-back games on the road, and they were able to split those outings.

They were beaten 110-103 by the Los Angeles Lakers in their season-opener, before heading to Sacramento where they won 117-115.

Minnesota then backed up that victory with a successful home opener, beating Toronto 112-101.

The Timberwolves were unable to follow that up though, as they were then beaten 120-114 by Dallas at the Target Center.
