Denver go into the second game of his double-header with Memphis looking to avenge a loss that ended their five-game win streak.
The Nuggets opened the season with back-to-back home defeats, before steadying the ship on the road with overtime wins over Toronto, 127-125, and Brooklyn, 144-139.
They then responded to a 119-116 loss in Minnesota with a 129-103 blowout of Utah that sparked a five-game streak.
Denver beat Toronto 121-119, Oklahoma City 124-122, Miami 135-122 and Dallas 122-120, before heading out on the road to lose 101-94 in New Orleans in their NBA Cup opener.
That became back-to-back defeats on Sunday night as they lost 105-90 to the Grizzlies in Memphis.

Memphis enter this matchup looking to back up Sunday night’s over Denver, which ended a two-game skid.
The Grizzlies made a slow start to the season as they lost three of their first five games, but they kick-started a good run in their final game in October.
They beat Milwaukee 122-99 at home and Philadelphia 124-107 on the road, before responding to a 106-104 loss in Brooklyn with a three-game win streak.
Memphis beat the Los Angeles Lakers 131-114 and Washington 128-104 at home, before heading to Portland to beat the Trail Blazers 134-89.
The Grizzlies’ run was halted by a 128-123 defeat at the Lakers and a 123-118 loss at Golden State, but they avoided a third straight loss with a 105-90 win over Denver on Sunday.
Verdict
Memphis have won four straight at home, while Denver have lost three-in-a-row on the road.
If Nikola Jokic sits this one out, we really like the Grizzlies' chances of repeating Sunday's win over the Nuggets.
