Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers Preview & Picks

Can Los Angeles make it three wins in a row at Denver’s expense?

Check back here on Wednesday morning for our free Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers tips.

Head To Head

  • Los Angeles Lakers lead the all-time series 140-97
  • Denver Nuggets won 131-126 when the two teams last met on March 14

Denver Nuggets Form

Denver head to Los Angeles on the back of a victory, but in inconsistent form with three defeats in their last six games.

The Nuggets have not managed back-to-back wins since the first few days of March, when they backed up a 116-110 victory over Sacramento with a 149-141 overtime success against Phoenix.

They then lost 127-103 at Oklahoma City, before avenging that loss to the Thunder with a 140-127 win the following day.

Denver then returned home for a 115-95 defeat to Minnesota, but hit back immediately to beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 131-126.

The Nuggets again failed to follow up a win as they lost 126-123 to Washington, although they did issue a quick response in the form of a 114-105 win at Golden State.

Los Angeles Lakers Form

Los Angeles go into this matchup having bounced back from a rough road trip with back-to-back wins.

The Lakers were on a red-hot run of form when they went out on the road just over a week ago, having won their previous eight games.

That streak was halted by a 111-101 defeat in Boston, and that proved to be the start of a four-game skid on their travels.

Los Angeles lost 111-108 in Brooklyn, 126-106 at Milwaukee and 131-126 when they visited Denver.

The Lakers have turned around their form since returning home though, following up a 107-96 victory against Phoenix with a 125-109 win over San Antonio.
