Denver Nuggets at Dallas Mavericks Preview & Picks

Can Dallas avenge Sunday’s defeat to Denver?

Check back here on Tuesday morning for our free Denver Nuggets at Dallas Mavericks tips.

Head To Head

  • Dallas Mavericks lead the all-time series 103-100
  • Denver Nuggets won 112-101 when the two teams last met on January 12

Denver Nuggets Form

Denver remain in Dallas looking to repeat Sunday’s win over the Mavericks and extend their winning form to four games.

The Nuggets ended 2024 with back-to-back wins, beating Detroit 134-121 and Utah 132-121, and began 2025 with a 139-120 victory over Atlanta.

They failed to make it four-in-a-row as they lost 113-110 at home to San Antonio, but they avenged that loss the following day as they beat the Spurs 122-111 in overtime on the road.

Denver failed to follow that up as they then lost 118-106, only to then respond with three straight wins.

The Nuggets beat the LA Clippers 126-103 and Brooklyn 124-105 at home, before heading to Dallas to beat the Mavericks 112-101.

Dallas Mavericks Form

Dallas go into this matchup looking to rebound from the weekend defeat to Denver, which was their sixth in their last eight games.

The Mavericks closed out 2024 in disappointing fashion as they dropped back-to-back games on the road, losing 126-122 in Portland and 110-100 in Sacramento.

They then started 2025 with a 110-99 loss in Houston, before returning home for a 134-122 defeat to Cleveland.

Dallas’s skid then reached five games with a 119-104 loss to Memphis, but they were able to steady the ship last week as they beat the Los Angeles Lakers 118-97 and Portland 117-111.

The Mavericks’ turnaround was short-lived however, as they lost 112-101 to Denver on Sunday.
