Can Cleveland win their third straight game at home?

Check back here on Thursday morning for our free Denver Nuggets at Cleveland Cavaliers tips.

Head To Head

  • Denver Nuggets lead the all-time series 54-44
  • Denver Nuggets won 130-101 when the two teams last met on March 31

Denver Nuggets Form

Denver head out on this five-game road trip in inconsistent form, having gone 4-5 over their last 9 games.

The Nuggets enjoyed a five-game win streak in early November, only to see that run end with road defeats to New Orleans, 101-94, and Memphis, 105-90.

They rallied to win the rematch with the Grizzlies, 122-110, only to then suffer a 123-120 defeat when they returned home to face Dallas.

Denver responded to that loss with a 127-102 win at the Los Angeles Lakers, and then bounced back from a 145-118 home to loss to a New York with a 122-103 win over Utah.

The Nuggets failed to back that up as they lost 126-122 to the LA Clippers, but again recovered quickly from a loss, this time beating Golden State 119-115.

Cleveland Cavaliers Form

Cleveland go into this matchup having won back-to-back games to take their league-best record to 19-3.

The Cavaliers opened the season with a 15-game win streak that was eventually ended by a 120-117 defeat in Boston.

They bounced back immediately, recording home wins over both New Orleans, 128-100, and Toronto, 122-108, only to then drop back-to-back meetings with Atlanta.

Cleveland lost 135-124 at home to the Hawks and 117-101 on the road, but they have not lost since.

The Cavaliers avoided a third straight loss with a 115-111 home win against defending champions Boston, and that was backed up by a 118-87 blowout of Washington.
