Dallas Mavericks Form

Dallas go into this game looking to make it back-to-back NBA Cup wins and take their overall winning run to four games.

The Mavericks opened up with five wins in their first eight games, but their form nose-dived earlier this month.

A 114-113 home defeat to Phoenix proved to be the start of a four-game losing skid that saw them go 0-3 on the road.

Dallas were beaten 122-120 in Denver and 120-117 at Golden State, before heading to Utah for a 115-113 defeat to the Jazz.

The Mavericks stopped the rot last weekend though, beating San Antonio 110-93 and Oklahoma City 121-119, and started this week with a 132-91 NBA Cup win over New Orleans.

Denver Nuggets Form

Denver go into this game looking to build on Tuesday night’s NBA Cup win in Memphis, which took their overall record to 8-5.

The Nuggets opened the season with back-to-back defeats, but kick-started their campaign with a couple of overtime wins on the road, beating Toronto and Brooklyn.

They then rebounded from a 119-116 defeat at Minnesota with a five-game win streak that started with a 129-103 victory over Utah.

Denver went on to beat Toronto 121-119, Oklahoma City 124-122, Miami 135-122 and Dallas 122-120 at home, only to see their run end with a 101-94 loss in New Orleans.

The Nuggets then moved on to Memphis for a 105-90 defeat, but avenged that loss two nights later with a 122-110 victory over the Grizzlies.
