The Mavericks have won back-to-back game just once since late December and have not tasted victory since the 137-136 win in New Orleans at the start of this road trip.

Since that night they have shockingly traded away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, and have gone 0-3 on the court.

Dallas’ losing run began with a 117-102 defeat in Detroit, and they then suffered an embarrassing blowout loss in Cleveland, falling 144-101 to the Cavaliers.

The Mavericks moved on to Philadelphia to start this week’s schedule, and lost 118-116 at the hands of the 76ers.

Boston return home on the back of an impressive win in Cleveland that extended their current win streak to four games.

The Celtics stumbled in late January with a couple of losses, but they were able to end the month in positive fashion.

They first beat Chicago 122-100 at home, before heading out on the road to start a three-game trip with a 118-116 victory in New Orleans.

Boston then travelled to Philadelphia to beat the 76ers 118-110, setting up a mouth-watering clash with Eastern Conference leaders Cleveland.

The Celtics took the bragging rights at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, downing the Cavaliers 112-105.
