  • Cleveland Cavaliers won 115-105 when the two teams last met on December 13

Cleveland Cavaliers Form

Cleveland head to the nation’s capital having rebounded from the loss to Boston with their fifth win in their last six games.

The Cavaliers endured one of their worst runs of the season in late January as they lost three consecutive games, but they have turned things around since then.

They stopped the rot with a 110-91 win at home to Detroit, before heading out on the road to down Miami 126-106.

Cleveland then returned home to beat Atlanta 137-115 and Dallas 144-101, only to see their streak end with a 112-105 loss to Boston.

The Cavaliers rebounded immediately though, as they went back out on the road to beat Detroit, 118-115.

Washington Wizards Form

Washington go into this game having rebounded from a miserable run in January by winning each of their last three games.

The Wizards began 2025 with a 125-107 win over Chicago, but they did not win another game in January.

They lost 16 consecutive matchups before finally stopping the rot on the first day of February, beating Minnesota 105-103 on the road.

Washington then moved on to Charlotte and won back-to-back games for the first time since October as they downed the Hornets, 124-114.

The Wizards backed that up on Wednesday night, as they strung together three wins for the first time this season with a 119-102 victory in Brooklyn.
