Cleveland Cavaliers at Oklahoma City Thunder Preview & Picks

Can Oklahoma City avenge the recent defeat to Cleveland?

Check back here on Thursday morning for our free Cleveland Cavaliers at Oklahoma City Thunder tips.

Head To Head

  • Oklahoma City Thunder lead the all-time series 71-53
  • Cleveland Cavaliers won 129-122 when the two teams last met on January 8

Cleveland Cavaliers Form

Cleveland head to Oklahoma City having rebounded immediately from the defeat that snapped a 12-game win streak.

The Cavaliers have been in fantastic form since the season began and their latest long streak included a flawless road trip that saw them down four Western Conference teams.

They ended 2024 by beating Denver 149-135, Golden State 113-95 and the Los Angeles Lakers 122-110, before starting 2025 with a 134-122 victory in Dallas.

Cleveland then returned home to down Charlotte 115-105, Oklahoma City 129-122 and Toronto 132-126, before seeing their streak finally end with a 108-93 loss to Indiana.

The Cavaliers immediately avenged that loss though, winning 127-117 in Indiana on Tuesday night.

Oklahoma City Thunder Form

Oklahoma City have revenge on their mind, with Cleveland the only team to have beaten them in their last 19 games.

The Thunder enjoyed a season-best win streak between early December and early January as they reeled off 15 consecutive victories.

That run was brought to a halt back on January 8 when they suffered a 129-122 defeat in Cleveland, but they have bounced back emphatically.

Oklahoma City moved on to blow out New York 126-101, before heading to Washington to crush the Wizards, 136-95.

The Thunder then made it three-in-a-row on Tuesday night, as they downed the 76ers in Philadelphia, 118-102.
