Cleveland enter this matchup having rebounded from four consecutive defeats with three straight wins.
The Cavaliers enjoyed a 16-game win streak that was finally brought to an end on March 16 when they were beaten 108-103 by Orlando.
They failed to rebound from that loss as they went out on the road to lose 132-119 at the LA Clippers, 123-119 in Sacramento and 123-112 at Phoenix.
Cleveland stopped the rot over the weekend though, heading to Utah to blow out the Jazz 120-91.
The Cavaliers then backed up that victory with a 122-111 win in Portland, before returning home to down San Antonio 124-116.
Detroit Pistons Form
Detroit go into this game on a solid run of form, having won four of their last five games and each of the last two.
The Pistons lost back-to-back home games in the middle of March, losing 129-125 to Washington and 113-107 to Oklahoma City.
They avoided a third straight loss though, beating New Orleans 127-81 on the road, and they backed that up with a 116-113 success in Miami.
Detroit failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 123-117 in Dallas, but they did issue an immediate response to that loss.
The Pistons returned home to take down New Orleans, 136-130, and they followed that up on Tuesday night as they crushed San Antonio, 122-96.
Verdict
Cleveland have not lost to Detroit for quite a while, and that trend is unlikely to change here.
The Cavaliers are back on track and are likely to have too much defensively for a Pistons team missing its biggest offensive weapon.
