Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks Preview & Picks
Dallas are tipped to cover a double digit spread.
Chicago could be short-handed for this one, and so far this season they have not covered in any of their defeats.
- Chicago Bulls are 0-4-0 ATS in defeats this season
- Dallas Mavericks were 2-0 against Chicago last season
- Dallas Mavericks were 2-0-0 ATS in the 2023/24 season
- The Under cashed in both of last season's meetings
Head To Head
- Dallas Mavericks lead the all-time series 44-42
- Dallas Mavericks won 127-92 when the two teams last met on March 11
Chicago Bulls Form
Chicago head to Dallas looking to bounce back from a couple of defeats that have left them 3-4.
The Bulls opened the season with a 123-111 defeat in New Orleans, but responded with a shock 133-122 victory in Milwaukee.
They failed to follow that up as they then lost 114-95 to Oklahoma City in their home opener, but their response to that loss was strong.
Chicago travelled to Memphis to tame the Grizzlies, 126-123, and then returned home to down Orlando, 102-99.
The Bulls have not won since though, losing 120-112 in Brooklyn before suffering a 135-126 home defeat at the hands of Utah.
Dallas Mavericks Form
Dallas go into this matchup on the back of their second defeat in three games, which has left them just above .500 at 4-3.
The Mavericks made a winning start to the season as they beat San Antonio 120-109 at home, only to then lose their road opener, 114-102 in Phoenix.
They bounced back to win the next two, beating Utah 110-102 at home and Minnesota 120-114 on the road, but they have won just once since then.
Dallas failed to win a third straight game as they lost 108-102 to Houston, only to rebound with a 108-95 blowout of Orlando.
The Mavericks were unable to back up that win though, as they were beaten at home by Indiana on Monday night, 134-127.
Verdict
Lonzo Ball is out and Zach LaVine is listed as questionable, so the Bulls could be short-handed.
Combine that with Chicago's inability to cover in a loss and Dallas make for the more appealing option.
