Brooklyn head out on the road looking to follow up on Monday night’s win which improved their record to 4-4.

The Nets opened the season with back-to-back defeats on their travels, losing 120-116 in Atlanta and 116-101 at Orlando.

They finally got off the mark as they beat Milwaukee 115-102 in their home opener, only to then lose 144-139 in overtime when they hosted Denver.

Brooklyn bounced back immediately with a 119-106 success in Memphis, and backed it up at home as they downed Chicago 120-112.

The Nets failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost to Detroit, but they did rebound in their next outing to beat Memphis 106-104.

Boston Celtics Form

Defending champions Boston go into this matchup on the back of their second defeat of the season, which has left them 7-2.

The Celtics began their defence with a four-game win streak, starting with a 132-109 victory when they entertained New York.

They then went out on the road to beat Washington 122-102 and Detroit 124-118, before heading back home to take down Milwaukee, 119-108.

Boston’s perfect start was finally ended by a 135-132 overtime loss in Indiana, but they did respond immediately as they won back-to-back games in Charlotte, 124-109 and 113-103.

The Celtics then downed the Hawks in Atlanta, 123-93, only to lose 118-112 when they returned home to host Golden State on Wednesday night.
