Boston Celtics Form

Boston head to New York on a fantastic fun of form, having won 16 of their 18 games since the start of March.

The Celtics began last month with a five-game win streak, and then rebounded from a loss to Oklahoma City with a season-best run of nine straight victories.

What made that run even more impressive was that eight of those wins came on the road.

Boston’s tear was eventually ended by a 124-103 home defeat to Miami, but they have issued a strong response.

The Celtics returned to winning ways with a 123-103 victory over Phoenix, before blowing out Washington, 124-90.

New York Knicks Form

New York enter this matchup on a strong run of form, having won six of their previous eight games.

The Knicks dropped back-to-back road games in the middle of March, but rebounded at home as they beat Washington 122-103 and Dallas 128-113.

They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 126-113 to the LA Clippers, but they responded swiftly to that defeat, reeling off three straight wins.

New York win 116-107 in Milwaukee, before heading home to take down Portland, 110-93, and 105-91.

The Knicks then fell 124-105 in Cleveland, only to respond with a 121-105 victory in Atlanta and a 112-98 win at home to Phoenix.
