Boston Celtics Form

Boston head to New Orleans looking to build on Wednesday’s victory over Chicago and win for the fifth time in seven games.

The Celtics struggled for consistency during the early stages of January, before finally winning back-to-back games in California.

They blew out Golden State, 125-85, to rebound from a shock loss to Atlanta, and then backed that up with a 117-113 overtime victory at the LA Clippers.

Boston failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 117-96 to the Los Angeles Lakers, but they did rebound with a 122-107 success in Dallas.

The Celtics then fell to a 114-112 home defeat to Houston, only to rebound with a 122-100 rout of Chicago.

New Orleans Pelicans Form

New Orleans enter this match in desperate need of a win, having now lost each of their last four games.

The Pelicans enjoyed a four-game win streak earlier this month that started with a 119-113 victory in Chicago.

They then returned home to beat Dallas 119-116, before recording back-to-back victories over Utah, 136-123 in regulation and 123-119 in overtime.

New Orleans failed to make it five-in-a-row though, as a 139-126 defeat in Memphis proved to be the start of a rough run.

The Pelicans then lost 123-92 in Charlotte and 113-104 in Toronto, before returning home for a 137-136 defeat to Dallas.
