Shevchenko won the title by beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk via a unanimous decision in December 2018, and has made seven successful defences since then.

Her first successful outing as champion came in June 2019 when she stopped Jessica Eye with strikes early in the second round.

‘Bullet’ then beat Liz Carmouche by unanimous decision before getting back to fight-finishing ways with a third round knockout of Katlyn Chookagian.

Shevchenko then bested Jennifer Maia over five rounds, and made a fifth successful defence when she finished Jessica Andrade with strikes in the second round.

Lauren Murphy stuck around a little longer before she was finally dispatched in the fourth round.

Then, in her sole title defence in 2022, Shevchenko was taken the distance as she recorded a split decision win over Talia Santos.

Alexa Grasso Form

Alexa Grasso is ranked sixth in the women’s flyweight division with a professional record of 15-3 (4 KOs, 1 Sub).

Grasso made the move to flyweight after losing three of her final five fights at strawweight, with her last outing ended in a majority decision loss to Carla Esparza.

She made a successful debut in her new weight class by earning a unanimous decision win over Ji Yeon Kim.

The 29-year-old Mexican went the distance in her next fight too, recording another unanimous decision victory when she took on Maycee Barber.

Grasso finally got her first stoppage win as a flyweight in March of last year, submitting Joanne Wood in the first round of their fight to take her win streak to three-in-a-row.

She then made it four wins in a row by beating Viviane Araujo via unanimous decision last October.
