- 4 of Korean Zombie’s last 5 defeats have been by KO/TKO
- Holloway lands 7.16 significant strikes per minute (Zombie 3.97)
- Each of Holloway’s last 9 fights have gone over 3.5 total rounds

Max Holloway Form
Max Holloway is a former UFC featherweight champion and is currently the #1 ranked contender with a professional record of 24-7 (10 KOs, 2 Subs).
Holloway won the interim featherweight title in December 2017 when he knocked out Anthony Pettis in the third round.
‘Blessed’ then became undisputed champion the following June when the stopped he legendary Jose Aldo in the third round of their title fight.
Proving that was no fluke he did it again in the rematch later that year, and in December 2018 he made it back-to-back defences with a TKO success against Brian Ortega.
Holloway then stepped up to lightweight in a bid to become a two-weight world champion, but that quest ended in failure as he lost a decision to Dustin Poirier.
He then returned to featherweight for one more successful defence, beating Frankie Edgar on points, before losing the belt to Alexander Volkanovski by unanimous decision.
The 31-year-old Hawaiian then lost the rematch too, this time via split decision, but he got his career back on track in 2021.
Holloway beat both Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez to set up a trilogy fight with Volkanovski for the belt, but again he came up short against the Australian, losing via unanimous decision.
He did return to winning ways earlier this year though, besting Arnold Allen over five rounds for a points win.
The Korean Zombie Form
The Korean Zombie (Chan Sung Jung) is the #8 ranked featherweight contender with a record of 17-7 (6 KOs, 8 Subs).
Zombie debuted in the UFC in 2011 and won his first three fights via stoppage to secure a shot at the featherweight title.
His streak was halted by Jose Aldo though, as he was knocked out in the fourth round of their title fight in August 2013.
The 36-year-old put his career on hold after that loss, serving his mandatory stint in the South Korean army, but when he did finally return in February 2017 he made an immediate splash.
Zombie knocked out Dennis Bermudez in the very first round, only to then suffer a spectacular last-second knockout loss to Yair Rodriguez in a fight that he was winning on the scorecards.
He rebounded quickly though, stopping Renato Moicano in just 58 seconds before knocking out Frankie Edgar in less than one round.
His run was halted by a unanimous decision loss to Brian Ortega, but again he rebounded quickly, earning a points win over Dan Ige in his only fight of 2021.
That was enough to land Zombie a second shot at the featherweight title last year, but again he was knocked out when challenging for the gold, this time by Alexander Volkanovski in the fourth round.
Verdict
Max Holloway remains one of the very best featherweight fighters on the planet.
He has the striking skills to work over Zombie, beat him up and score a finish in the latter stages of the fight.
