Grant Dawson is the #10 ranked lightweight contender with a professional record of 20-1-1 (4 KO, 13 Sub).
Dawson debuted in the UFC in 2019, following an appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series, and he made a flying start.
He beat Julian Erosa by unanimous decision before submitting both Michael Triziano and Darrick Minner in the second round.
The 29-year-old American than bested Nad Narimani over three rounds before recording his first KO win in the UFC, finishing Leonardo Santos in the third round.
Dawson was unable to make six-in-a-row in the UFC though, going to a majority draw with Ricky Glenn in October 2021.
His response to that setback has been strong though – a run of three straight wins that have put him into the top 10 in the division.
‘KGD’ submitted both Jared Gordon and Mark Madsen in the third round, and earlier this year he recorded a unanimous decision win against Damir Ismagulov.

Bobby Green is an unranked veteran with a professional record of 30-14-1 (10 KO, 9 Sub), with 1 No Contest.
Green debuted in the UFC following the Strikeforce merger in 2013, and got off to a good start as he won four consecutive fights.
He submitted Jacob Volkmann and knocked out James Krause during that run, before earning decision wins against Pat Healy and Josh Thomson.
The 37-year-old American’s career stalled after that though, as he won just one of his next seven fights, losing five times.
‘King’ kick-started his career in 2020 as reeled off three wins, beating Clay Guido, Lando Vannata and Alan Patrick by decision, but he ended that year on a downer by losing on points to Thiago Moises.
Green then dropped another decision to Rafael Fiziev before finally getting back to winning ways with a first-round knockout of Al Iaquinta and a decision win against Nasrat Haqparast.
He lost his final two outings of 2022 though, getting knocked out by Drew Dober and Islam Makhachev, and then started 2023 with a No Contest against Jared Gordon.
Green did finally end his three-fight winless run in July though, submitting Tony Ferguson in the third round for the biggest win of his career so far.
