The Dodgers started this sequence by bouncing back from a 7-2 home defeat to Kansas City with a 3-0 win over the Royals.
They then went out on the road to beat Colorado 9-5 and 11-9, before rebounding from a 7-6 loss with a 5-3 victory in the series finale.
Los Angeles returned home briefly after that and spit a two-game series with Los Angeles, losing 3-2 and winning 7-2.
The Dodgers then went back out on the road for a successful series in Chicago, sweeping the White Sox with 3-0, 4-3 and 4-0 wins.
San Francisco Giants Form
San Francisco come into this series on the back of a defeat but having won three of their last four games.
The Giants struggled for much of the second half of June, starting with 8-6 and 4-3 defeats to the Los Angeles Angels.
They avoided being swept by beating the Angels 13-6, and they followed that up with a 7-6 success at the Chicago Cubs.
However, San Francisco’s form quickly nose-dived as they were beaten 5-2 and 6-5 at the Cubs, and they then travelled to St Louis to lose 6-5, 9-4 and 5-3 to the Cardinals.
The Giants steadied the ship when they returned home though, as they reeled off 5-4, 5-1 and 4-3 wins over the Chicago Cubs, but they missed out on the series sweep as they lost the final encounter, 5-3.
Verdict
Los Angeles are in good form and have pretty much owned San Francisco this season, so we are riding with the Dodgers in this one.
