Detroit have their sights set on another trip to the postseason, having finally ended a seven-year drought last year.
The Pistons compiled their first winning record since 2016 as they went 86-76 to claim a place in the American League Wild Card round.

The Tigers go into the new campaign having gone 12-15 in Spring Training, failing to win any of their final five games.
Los Angeles Dodgers Form
Los Angeles go into their home opener boasting a perfect 2-0 record, having already started their season earlier this month.
The Dodgers kicked off the 2025 campaign in Japan, and they made it a highly successful trip as they downed the Chicago Cubs in back-to-back games, 4-1 and 6-3.
They are, of course, on the hunt for back-to-back World Series crowns, having lifted the trophy for an eighth time.
Los Angeles compiled an MLB-best 98-64 record during the regular season, and then secured a World Series berth by beating San Diego 3-2 and the New York Mets 4-2.
The Dodgers then dominated the New York Yankees to win the championship, dropping just one game as they clinched a 4-1 series win in ‘The Big Apple’.
Verdict
Los Angeles got off to a solid start in Japan and we expect them to follow that up at home.
The Dodgers are the best team in baseball and we expect them to take another early step towards a possible 100-win regular season campaign.
