The 1-4 White Sox opened up the campaign at home with three consecutive meetings with Detroit, and lost every single one of them.
They failed to score a single run as they lost the season-opener 1-0, and that was followed by 7-6 and 3-2 defeats to the Tigers.
Chicago’s losing skid then reached four games as they were blown out at home by Atlanta, 9-0 in the series opener.
The White Sox finally got off the mark on Tuesday though, as they earned a surprise 3-2 win over the Braves, but they were denied the chance to build on that as the third meeting was postponed.

Kansas City missed out on the opportunity to return to .500 last night, as they lost for the fourth time this season.
The 2-4 Royals began the 2024 season with a three-game series against Minnesota at the Kauffman Stadium.
They got off to a bad start as they lost the first two games, 4-1 and 5-1, but they avoided being swept as they rolled over Minnesota in the final game of the series, winning 11-0.
Kansas City failed to build on that as they suffered a 6-4 defeat in their first road game of the season in Baltimore.
The Royals bounced back the following night as they beat the Orioles 4-1, but they failed to follow that up as they lost last night's meeting, 4-3.
Verdict
Chicago's lack of offense is a massive concern, so we expect Kansas City to bounce back from last night's loss.
