Baltimore Orioles Form

Baltimore entered last night’s series finale against Boston in inconsistent form, having gone 3-3 in their first six games.

The Orioles made an ideal start to the season as they blew out Toronto on the road, winning 12-2.

They failed to follow that up as they lost the second meeting 8-2, but they did rebound immediately to take the third encounter 9-5.

Baltimore again failed to back up a win, losing the series finale 3-1, only to again issue a swift response as they beat Boston 8-5 in their home opener.

Consistency continued to evade the Orioles however, as they then dropped the second game of the series 3-0.

Kansas City Royals Form

Kansas City enter this series having made a rough start to the season, losing four of their first six games.

The Royals opened the 2025 campaign with a three-game home series against Cleveland, and fell to a 7-4 defeat on opening day.

They rebounded to take the second meeting, 4-3, only to then lose 6-2 in the series finale.

Kansas City went out on the road after that and made a superb start in Milwaukee as they won the series opener 11-1.

The Royals were unable to follow that up though, as they lost the next two meetings with the Brewers, 5-0 and 3-2.
