The Diamondbacks’ skid reached three games with a 9-4 loss to Oakland, but they responded well to take the next two games, 3-0 and 5-1.
Los Angeles Dodgers Form
Los Angeles come into this series on the back of a disappointing series in San Francisco, but in solid form with nine wins in their previous 13 games.
The Dodgers started this series with a 3-0 home win over Kansas City, and built on that in Colorado with 9-5 and 11-9 victories.
They then bounced back from a 7-6 loss to the Rockies with a 5-3 victory, before splitting the series with the Los Angeles Angels, losing 3-2 and winning 7-2.
Los Angeles backed up that victory on the road as they travelled to Chicago to sweep the White Sox, winning 3-0, 4-3 and 4-0.
The Dodgers then headed back to the West Coast and sandwiched a 14-7 win in San Francisco with 5-3 and 10-4 defeats.
