A competitive field heads to the Sea Island Golf Club for this week's RSM Classic, but who will emerge from Georgia as the champion.
Ludvig Aberg returns to defend his title after a four-stroke victory over Mackenzie Hughes in 2023.
The players will tee off on the Seaside Course and Plantation Course on Thursday and Friday and complete rounds three and four on the Seaside Course.
Past major winners in the lineup include Brian Harman, Webb Simpson, Zach Johnson, Stewart Cink, Francesco Molinari, Lucas Glover, and Gary Woodland.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Brian Harman
Brian Harman has been in solid form on the PGA Tour during the latter half of the season, placing T21 at the US Open, T9 at the Travelers Championship, T21 Genesis Scottish Open, T60 at the Open Championship, T45 at the Wyndham Championship, T50 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, 25th at the BMW Championship and T13 at the SJM Macao Open (Asian Tour).
Other notable performances achieved by Harman during 2024 include finishing T5 at the Sentry, T18 at the Sony Oen in Hawaii, T12 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T2 at the Players Championship, T25 at the Valero Texas Open, T12 at the RBC Heritage and T24 at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
The former Open Champion has a long history at the RSM Classic, finishing T27 in 2012, T10 in 2013, T41 in 2014, MC in 2015, MC in 2016, T4 in 2017, T32 in 2018, T14 in 2019, MC in 2020, T61 in 2021, T2 in 2022 and T71 in 2023.
Harman has been showing signs he is ready to produce a top performance at the Sea Island Golf Club this weekend.
Si Woo Kim
Si Woo Kim has regained the form he showed earlier this season, placing T5 at the BMW Championship, T18 at the BMW PGA Championship (DP World Tour) and T6 at the ZOZO Championship in his last three starts.
Other noteworthy results achieved by Si Woo Kim on the PGA Tour this year include finishing T14 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T12 at the WM Phoenix Open, T6 at the Players Championship, T17 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, T18 at the RBC Heritage, T13 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, T16 at the Wells Fargo Championship and T15 at the Memorial Tournament.
The 29-year-old has made five appearances at the RSM Classic, placing T18 in 2015, MC in 2016, MC in 2017, MC in 2019 and T71 in 2023.
Si Woo Kim appears to have turned the corner and will fancy his chances to take home the winner's cheque this weekend.
Matt Wallace
Matt Wallace has been in great touch on his return to the DP World Tour, placing 8th at the Betfred British Masters, victory at the Omega European Masters, T12 at the BMW PGA Championship, T24 at the Open de Espana and T43 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
He was then T37 at the FedEx Open de France, T20 at the Andalucia Masters, T3 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and T11 DP World Tour Championship last weekend.
Additional highlights achieved by Wallace on the PGA Tour this season include finishing T17 at the Valspar Championship, T4 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, T20 at the Myrtle Beach Classic and T24 at the 3M Open.
The Englishman has featured at the RSM Classic on three occasions, placing T37 in 2020, 67th in 2021 and MC in 2023.
Wallace has been playing well lately and will be challenging for the title in Georgia come Sunday.
Rico Hoey
Rico Hoey has been in decent nick on the PGA Tour since August, finishing T22 at the Wyndham Championship, T37 at the Procore Championship, 68th at the Sanderson Farms Championship and T21 at the Black Desert Championship.
He was then T3 at the Shriners Children's Open, T22 at the ZOZO Championship, T45 at the World Wide Technology Championship and T17 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship last weekend.
Hoey's other notable achievements this season include placing T14 at the Valero Texas Open, T6 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, T2 at the ISCO Championship, and T8 at the Barracuda Championship.
The American-Filipino golfer is debuting at the RSM Classic this weekend.
Hoey has done nothing wrong lately and should enter calculations.
