A strong line-up is headed to Torrey Pines golf course for the Farmers Insurance Open, but who will leave San Diego with the title this weekend?
Matthieu Pavon returns to Torrey Pines to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Nicolai Hojgaard in 2024.
Past major winners who will tee off on Thursday include Keegan Bradley, Jason Day, Zach Johnson, Shane Lowry, Hideki Matsuyama, Francesco Molinari, Justin Rose, Danny Willett and Gary Woodland.
Players alternate between the South and North courses for rounds one and two, with the South course used for the remaining two rounds.

Ludvig Aberg
Ludvig Aberg has been in excellent touch on the PGA Tour lately, placing T2 at the BMW Championship, 16th at the Tour Championship, T17 at the RSM Classic, 6th at the Hero World Challenge and T5 at the Sentry.
Other notable results achieved by Aberg last season include finishing T9 at the Farmers Insurance Open, 2nd at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, 8th at the Players Championship, 2nd at the Masters, T10 at the RBC Heritage, T5 at the Memorial Tournament, T12 at the U.S. Open and T4 at the Genesis Scottish Open.
The number six-ranked golfer placed T9 overall on debut at the Farmers Insurance Open in 2024.
Aberg has been in great touch lately and is overdue a victory on the PGA Tour.
Will Zalatoris
Will Zalatoris has been thereabouts on the PGA Tour recently, placing T12 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T13 at the BMW Championship, T41 at the ZOZO Championship, T18 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge (DP World Tour), T26 at the Sentry and T12 at the American Express.
Additional highlights achieved by Zalatoris during 2024 include finishing T2 at the Genesis Invitational, 4th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T9 at the Masters.
The 28-year-old American has made five appearances at the Farmers Insurance Open, with results of MC in 2018, T7 in 2021, 2nd in 2022, MC in 2023 and T13 in 2024.
Zalatoris is showing signs he is ready to produce a big performance in San Diego this weekend.
Max Greyserman
Max Greyserman has been knocking hard on the PGA Tour since the end of July, placing 2nd at the 3M Open, 2nd at the Wyndham Championship, and T33 at the FedEx ST. Jude Championship, T2 at the ZOZO Championship, 4th at the World Wide and T7 at the American Express last weekend.
Other prominent performances Greyserman last year include finishing T15 at the Puerto Rico Open, T7 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, T4 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T21 at the U.S. Open, T21 at the Genesis Scottish Open and T13 at the Barracuda Championship.
The American missed the cut at the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open on debut.
Greyserman will fancy his chances to win his maiden title in San Diego after his recent results on the PGA Tour.
Jason Day
Jason Day has been playing well on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour lately, placing 8th at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T19 at the Hero World Challenge, T40 at the Sentry and T3 at the American Express last weekend.
Other noteworthy results achieved by Day last season include finishing T6 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, 9th at the Genesis Invitational, T4 at the Wells Fargo Championship, T13 at the Open Championship and T9 at the Paris Olympics.
The 11-time PGA Tour winner has compiled a superb record at the Farmers Insurance Open in his previous 11 starts, with results of T9 in 2013, T2 in 2014, victory in 2015, MC in 2016, MC in 2017, victory in 2018, T5 in 2019, T16 in 2020, MC in 2021, T3 in 2022, T7 in 2023 and MC in 2024.
Day should enter calculations, as he has been in decent nick and loves playing at Torrey Pines.

Aberg has the form to go all the way and win the Farmers Insurance Open this weekend.
Zalatoris has been producing consistent results lately and will be challenging for the title in San Diego come Sunday.
Greyserman can convert his recent results into securing his first PGA Tour title this weekend.
