The Roughriders won just six games all last season, but heading into this Week 6 matchup they are only two wins away from equalling that thanks to a 4-0 start.
They opened up the season with back-to-back road games, but they overcame that early challenge with a 29-21 win in Edmonton and a 33-30 victory at Hamilton.
Saskatchewan then marked their home opener with a 36-20 win over Hamilton that sent them into the bye week with a 3-0 record.
The Roughriders picked up from where they left off when they returned to action last week, beating Toronto 30-23 at home.
BC Lions Form
BC have rebounded from a losing start to the season with four consecutive wins to improve to 4-1.
The Lions kicked off the campaign on the road and suffered a 35-27 defeat at the hands of the Argonauts in Toronto.
They rebounded a week later though, beating Calgary 26-17 in their home opener, and they then built on that with a 26-24 victory in Winnipeg.
BC returned home for their fourth outing of the season and kept the wins coming with a 24-21 victory over Edmonton.
The Lions then made it to 4-1 last weekend as they went out on the road and beat Hamilton 44-28.
Verdict
BC are on a roll after a slow start, but we are not sold on them winning by more than a touchdown.
