Ottawa have already clinched a place in the playoffs, but they are looking to get back on track after three consecutive defeats.
The Redblacks split their first four games of the season, but found some form between mid-July and late August as they went six games unbeaten.
That run was ended by a 38-12 defeat to the BC Lions, only for them to rebound immediately with a 41-27 victory over Toronto.
Ottawa failed to back that up though, as a 37-21 defeat in Hamilton proved to be the start of a three-game losing skid.
The Redblacks then returned home to lose 24-12 to Montreal, before heading back out on the road for a 29-16 defeat to Saskatchewan.
Montreal Alouettes Form
Montreal have already clinched their division, but they have won just one of their last four games to slip to 11-3-1.
The Alouettes began their defence of the Grey Cup with five consecutive wins, before finally suffering a 37-18 defeat at the hands of Toronto.
They responded in emphatic fashion as they went on another five-game win streak before their second bye week, but their form has cooled off since then.
Montreal’s run was ended by a 37-23 defeat to the BC Lions, and they then played out a 19-19 tie in Calgary.
The Alouettes briefly bounced back with a 24-12 win in Ottawa, only to then head out on the road and lose 37-31 to Toronto last time out.
Verdict
Montreal have not lost to Ottawa for two years, and we do not see that dominance ending any time soon.
The Alouettes still boast the CFL’s record and they have repeatedly covered while taking down the Redblacks in recent seasons.
