Calgary then lost 31-29 to Ottawa, before suffering back-to-back defeats to Edmonton, 35-20 at home and 37-16 on the road.
The Stampeders avoided a fifth straight loss with a 19-19 tie against Montreal, only to quickly return to losing ways as they were beaten 37-29 by Saskatchewan.

BC head into their third straight home game looking to snap a two-game losing skid that has left them 7-8.
The Lions have blown hot and cold during the campaign so far, going on a five-game win streak early in the season that was followed by a five-game skid.
They steadied the ship with a 38-12 win at home to Ottawa, and backed that up with a 37-23 upset of Montreal on the road, only to soon return to losing ways.
BC suffered a 33-17 defeat to Toronto that sent them into their second bye week of the season at 7-7.
And when the Lions returned to action last week they fell to 7-8, as they were beaten 32-29 by Hamilton in double overtime.
