Vergil Ortiz Jr (22-0, 21 KOs) defends his interim WBC super-welterweight title against Israil Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs) at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 22.

The fight can be exclusively seen globally in over 200 countries on DAZN PPV, and is part of a huge card that features no less than seven fights for either a world title or an interim world title.

Ortiz Jr takes an unbeaten record into his first defence of the interim title, and not only has he rattled off 22 victories in his career, he has also knocked out 21 of his previous 22 opponents.

He will be looking to make it 23 wins and 22 knockout successes on Saturday night, as he attempts to secure a world title fight for later this year.

Looking to deny him is Madrimov, who is aiming to rebound after surrendering the WBA title last time out.

‘The Dream’ claimed the vacant belt last March when he knocked out Magomed Kurbanov in the fifth round, only to lose it five months later when he dropped a decision to Terence Crawford in a unification fight.

Can Madrimov bounce back and become the first man to defeat Ortiz Jr, or will the defending interim champion stay on course for a world title fight?

You can see for yourself thanks to DAZN’s global live streaming service, which is broadcasting the fight live online via PPV.
