Devin Haney is a former undisputed world lightweight champion with a professional record of 31-0 (15 KOs) with 1 No Contest.
Haney made his professional debut back in December 2015, and after winning several minor titles he claimed the interim WBC lightweight title in September 2019.
He stopped Zaur Abdullaev in four rounds to win the belt, and then became the full champion that November with a unanimous decision victory over Alfredo Santiago.
The 26-year-old American successfully defended the belt once in 2020, beating Yuriorkis Gamboa on points, before claiming decision wins over Jorge Linares and Joseph Diaz Jr in 2021.
That set up a fight with George Kambosos Jr for the undisputed lightweight crown, and Haney made the long trip to fight the Australian in ‘enemy territory’.
‘The Dream’ got the job done via unanimous decision, and a handful of months later he went back down under to win the rematch in points too.
Haney made one defence of his undisputed crown, beating Vasyl Lomachenko via unanimous decision, before making the move up to light-welterweight in 2023.
He beat Regis Prograis on points to win the WBC belt, but lost it last April when he was knocked down multiple times in a loss to Ryan Garcia.
Garcia later failed a drug test and the result was overturned to a No Contest.

Jose Carlos Ramirez is a former unified world light-welterweight champion with a career record of 29-2 (18 KOs).
Ramirez entered the professional ranks in December 2012 and won multiple minor titles before winning his first world title in March 2018.
He beat Amir Imam via unanimous decision to claim the vacant WBC light-welterweight title, and later that year he defended the title with a points win over Antonio Orozco.
The 32-year-old American then edged Jose Zepeda by majority decision, setting up a unification fight with Maurice Hooker.
Ramirez added the WBO belt thanks to a sixth-round knockout of Hooker, and in his next outing he retained both belts with a majority verdict against Viktor Postol.
That set up a unification clash with Josh Taylor, and he was unable to add two more titles to his collection as he lost via decision.
‘Jaguar’ put losing his world titles behind him as he beat Jose Pedraza on points, and he backed that up with an 11th round knockout of Richard Commey in his only outing of 2023.
Ramirez made it three-in-a-row by out-pointing Rances Barthelemy last year, only to end 2024 with a unanimous decision defeat to Arnold Barboza Jr.

There will be some question marks surrounding Devin Haney after how the Ryan Garcia fight played out.
